Northgate Electric Corp, was originally founded in 1967 by Mr. Martin Bass, a Local 3 Electrical Foreman.
Northgate’s main corporate headquarters along with our main warehouse is located at 111 Carolyn Blvd, Farmingdale, NY 11735 and maintains a satellite office at 256 W. 36th St, New York, NY.
Ownership of Northgate remains within the Bass family and is currently led and managed by Martin’s daughter Dina Dunn, President and CEO.
Currently, Northgate Electric is a NYS, NYC, and WBENC Approved Women’s Business Enterprise as well as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.
Other affiliations NECA (National Electrical Contractor’s Assoc.) and NYNECA.
We are licensed and insured to perform electrical installations throughout Long Island and the five boroughs of New York City.
Northgate is a union electrical contractor affiliated with both IBEW local 3 (NYC) as well as IBEW local 25 (Long Island).
